For Your Eyes Only

“I have something of great import to all of you,” Bishop Rose told the three of them. She carefully took a scroll casing out from within the folds of her robes and handed it directly to The Man With No Name. He pulled out the scroll and opened it up. The message on the parchment was written in an ancient, but readable, script of the Western language.

To my dearest Lictalon,

I am sorry but I must retire from our dalliances. Our times together have been the most amazing period of my life… But you are a God and I am not, and I have been offered a position in a new guild where psionics will be equal to magic. This pains me to no end.

Know that I will always love you,

The Lady Christine Puushkin

These events occured in the city of Haven on the 24th of Kym-Nark-Mar in the 25th Year of Emperor Voelkian Itomas II. The date of the scroll is unknown.

  • For those who can’t read the Palladium Rune font, the scroll reads:

  • Love the use of the rune font, and thanks for putting the translation right away. It shows fine on my computer, but as runes on my phone.

    • It might be a browser issue. I have a similar issue. On one PC and my iphone the font displays right but on another PC with an older browser it doesn’t show. It’s not a perfect script to display the font but hopefully it’s good enough for most readers.

  • My phone just translated it into a readable font. Interesting ideas I would like to explore if there was time.

  • Ah…Secrets revealed…best kind of secrets I say.
