Missive for the Missus

My dearest,

I never meant for you to feel neglected. I’m truly new to the priesthood, and so I thought, erroneously it would seem, that you would be informed by the goddess that I still was true to you and our vows before the goddess, but that seems not to be the case.

It would seem that we are just as much left to our own devices as those we serve in our flock.

Let me, then, say that I yet live. I have joined you in the priesthood. There is still a lot for me to learn about it, but I spend time every day studying what it means to be a priest of bast.

Oh, I wanted to tell you, I have performed my first love match. It fell apart shortly after when one of the partners lit the other on fire, accidentally of course, but it had all appearances of lasting at least for a month or two.

I know this is short, and I apologize for that, but I promise to write more often, even if they never appear in the chronicle. In fact, I commit now to write you once per week on high-day. No matter where I am, or what I am doing, I shall write you at least a short note.

Yours in Bast,
Grignak.

  • The question is whether he takes Xerx’ses name and really hits the promise.
    Very heartfelt, very cool.

  • I love this it is so sweet and tender!

  • You accidentally set your girlfriend on fire one time and no-one ever lets you forget it!

  • Ursus, although very round about way, seems to have influenced his fellow CrIsis to “traditional” love.
