The day you left was a breaking day. That same day I was delivered the remains of my daughter by The Agent. I really wish that you had not left with your servant. I don’t blame you as you are following the will of the gods; Ianna too. I just wish that I knew what you were doing. There’s a swirl of emotions.

First, death and fear was on one day (the first one you left) the following day was the trials. I did my best to push back the pain and try my best.

When we got there some clown (officiator) asked for papers and metals(?). We only had papers and it took a good hour to get us all enrolled and given metals to try out. Then it was announced “don’t have any magic items or your enrollment will be removed”. I forgot that I had, well, a ton of magic stuff. They gave a pardon for a lot of us and allowed us to receive a ticket to list all our stuff. I was so nervous for the Osiris’ Finger.

The trials went well. I enrolled in six of them and as of the end of today I have passed two trials (single man rowing sweep and four man rowing sweep); three events left to go. Strange side note, I bought another sword (yes that makes four swords owned or carried by me but one doesn’t count as it has not been delivered). This non-magic thing has made me really look into getting a proper sword but I neglected to get a good boat or bow. I am going to have to work on that and passing the events first with what I have.

I know that I will not sleep from excitement and pain.
