My dear friend Jidian, I know that you are currently involved in trying to prevent the war between the Wolfen Empire and the Eastern Territory, but your friends in CrIsis are in great need.
Tyvernos, Gnome of Renown, I also send this missive to you- CrIsis danger is great, and they need both you and Otto.
I know that you both of you are aware of the Agreement through good Perfone, or by signing it yourself, as Tynernos has, so I am afraid of giving this warning directly, but you, Jidian, have not signed it, and as a good upstanding member of the Church I can inform you of the loss of someone you know well. I am informing Tyvernos, as his uncle Firsar was with Jidian during the events described below, and I know not how to reach Firsar.
I am sorry to inform you, Jidian, that your friend Stirling Bridge, along with all of his force, have died. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know that he worked with you in defeating the Brass Crown Clan of Coyles.
What does that have to do with CrIsis? Well, they are going exactly where Stirling Bridge and his band died, with the same intention- to the Isle of the Cyclops Stirling wanted to acquire the Left Hand of Osiris, both for his own glory and the glory of his Lord, Duke Gideon VasPasseon, ruler of Llorn. The good Bishop Rose heard of the plan after Stirling left, but was denied access to the Duke to try to prevent the attempt.
Stirling Bridge was armed with 6 million gold as a negotiating tool, and I do not need to tell you of his martial prowess. It is rumored that he tried to negotiate with the holder of the Hand, the Jotan Necromancer Ammetti Besi. Their bodies were delivered back to Llorn, left outside the Ducal estate. Do not let CrIsis try to negotiate with this monster! They will suffer an even more foul fate, their deaths plus the loss of the Pieces of Osiris they hold!
I am not discounting your own battles, but please bring this news to them directly. Tell Asher that Baldbet Pegrim.brings this message- that way you do not need to invoke my name around prying ears.
Ask Hobe to send you, Jidian, to the Vequana- yes, the very same ship you made your last trip to the Isle on, so many years ago. They are within a day of the Isle now, so he should place you there with no issues. Have him give you a scroll to get you back whenever you are needed.
Tyvernos, I know that you have ways to arrive at the Isle of the Cyclops- meet them at the docks in Trade Port.
I know that you do not wish for your friends to walk into the trap- they must slay the foul Giant, quietly, so that the Isle is not alerted until they have left. This will not be an easy task, but with your help I am sure you are up for it.
